Creative Master Northcord is creating new design standards in the layout of the interior in the replica. This model bus carries the special livery of “Pink & Ride”, as applied by Stagecoach in Cambridge to 17007 (S807 BWC), In a campaign to fight Breast Cancer in Cambridgeshire and was jointly supported by Cambridgeshire County Council, Cancer Research UK and Stagecoach. Cancer Research UK has benefited from funds raised on the Park & Ride buses operated by Stagecoach in Cambridge during October 2006. On each Tuesday that month Stagecoach donated 50% of the Park & Ride return bus fares, of £2 or £1.50, to the campaign fund and to highlight the campaign even further, the company repainted one of its fleet of Park & Ride buses into a pink version of the Park & Ride livery. The chosen bus was former Stagecoach London Dennis Trident/Alexander ALX400 17007 and this carries slogans “Think Pink”, “Let’s fight breast cancer in Cambridgeshire” and “Pink & Ride” to highlight the campaign beyond the initial stages. more.. | |
